Introductory Course on Green Deal
An introductory course about Green Deal for frontline staff of voluntary organisations, RSLs and local authorities. The aim of this course is to
- explode myths and preconceptions around Green Deal
- provide information participants can relay to residents during the course of their work
The content will include
· the purpose behind Green Deal - what it is trying to achieve
· an outline of the Green Deal Process
· the roles and responsibilities of the key players involved
· how Green Deal is financed
· the issues relating to tenants, householders living in conservation areas, in listed buildings etc
· how residents can access Green Deal
· identifying and answering the questions that residents may ask
The session will be informal and practical based and will be designed to be delivered in-house during a half day or one day depending on the individual requirements of the organisation.
The cost for this course for up to 50 people is £450 plus VAT and expenses for half day and £600 plus VAT and expenses for a full day.
